Door County community ensemble the Peninsula Symphonic Band will bring music to the shoreline of Sister Bay during an upcoming concert.
The free show is set for Thursday, July 23, at 7 pm, at Waterfront Park, 10693 N. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay.
The evening’s program will feature a lively mix of concert band classics, patriotic selections and popular favorites.
Donations are encouraged to support the band and its summer band camp scholarship program. This year, the Peninsula Symphonic Band awarded $1,500 in scholarships to six Door County student musicians, bringing the program’s total scholarship support to more than $8,000 since its founding.
