The Peninsula Symphonic Band of Door County is seeking a new music director. The community band, over 70 members strong includes amateur musicians as well as current and retired professionals. The band’s repertoire consists of a variety of music from all genres and plays at a Grade 3-4 level. The band has performed in Door County for 35 years. The Peninsula Symphonic Band also incorporates the Swingin’ Door Big Band consisting of members from the community band as well as local professionals. The two bands operate eight months of the year with each band performing 5-6 concerts throughout Door County.
