The Swingin’ Door Big Band will perform a benefit concert for Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, helping the church fund cleanup and repairs from flooding and water damage in December.

The show will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 7 pm, at MUSE Sturgeon Bay, 330 Jefferson St. The concert is free to attend, with freewill donations encouraged.

“Prince of Peace has long been a generous community partner, graciously welcoming us into their space for rehearsals, meetings and concerts,” Swingin’ Door Big Band board president and member Mike Fordney said. “We’re grateful for their hospitality, and we’re glad to do what we can to support them during this challenging time.”

The Swingin’ Door Big Band will perform an evening of big band favorites and swing-era classics, led by guest conductor Tim Fox. The band is grateful to MUSE for offering their space to host this benefit concert.
