I got involved with music, the trumpet specifically, during the summer preceding 6th grade. I continued playing all through high school, in Sturgeon Bay, under the directorship of Bert Freeman. I quite enjoy playing and have been with the Peninsula Symphonic Band since the beginning. The music that most appeals to me is that from the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Now retired, I was a circuit judge during my professional career.
