I started band in 5th grade and played right through high school. My fondest memory of my days with the Sturgeon Bay High School band: We were a concert band, but our instructor took us to a marching band competition in Winnepeg, Canada! After graduating, I played only occasionally and infrequently until Jane and Bob Goggins convinced me to join the Peninsula Symphonic Band. Even now, however, I'm not a real regular member but enjoy knowing that I can get together with these other musicians whenever I have the time. I love patriotic pieces and fun tunes. I have a varied background of jobs including factory worker, cook, waitress, graphic artist, proofreader, executive officer, office assistant, and salesperson.
